ULTRASONIC FOOD CUTTING SYSTEM

 

 

Ultrasonic food cutting system is the fastest and the smoothest way in food industry to cut cheese, halva and similar products which are difficult to cut by guillotine. With ultrasonic technology there will be no need to clean the blade as need in the guillotine system. The cutting time is also shorten by using a vibrating blade and there is no cracks in the product because of the pressure. This cutting method by ultrasonic can be applied to many different products in food industry. As samples, they can be bread, cheese and halva. In this method as blade, an ultrasonic horn is used. The shape of the horn is like a real blade but it vibrates. The vibration number is 20 000 or 40 000 times per second. With these huge vibrations, the product is cut because of friction smoothly. In some applications ultrasonic cutting is a must because when the ingredients are soft and rigid at the same time, conventional cutting methods are not so successful.
